‘I Do I Do’ Spent 120 Million Won on 500 Pairs of Shoes
Actress Kim Sun Ah has hit the jackpot with her latest drama - she′s earned herself a shoe closet worth 120 million won (~101,881 USD).
The custom room was built for Kim Sun Ah′s character in the drama I Do I Do, as the character is described as a shoe fanatic.
The drool-inducing room is simple enough, with a red sofa and beige walls - but lined up against the walls are shelves and shelves, filled with 200 shoes of every shape and color.
The cheapest shoes in the room reportedly cost 100,000 won (~85 USD) a pair, while the most expensive shoes are valued at 1.4 million won (~1,191 USD).
Another 300 or so shoes were collected and can be found in Kim Sun Ah’s company and her office, resulting in a total of some 500 pairs of shoes amassed for the drama. All the shoes are worth a total of 120 million won (~102,120 USD).
A member close to the drama production said, “To show the natural shoeholic character, we specially prepared this extravagant shoe room. After taking a first look at the completed shoe room, Kim Sun Ah and the other female staff members couldn’t contain their excitement. You will be more surprised when you see the room through the drama’s broadcast.”
