It was the opening pitch ’hurl-down’ seen by all of Korea, and now even American sports channel ESPN has aired Girls’ Generation (SNSD)’s Jessica’s infamous pitch.

On the May 14 (local time) episode of ESPN’s Pardon the Interruption, the singer and her pitch was brought up once more showing the infamous clip from her opening pitch in the May 11 baseball game against Korea’s LG Twins and the Samsung Lions.

Pardon the Interruption’s co-host Tony Kornheiser introduced the clip by saying, “Happy belated 23rd birthday, Jessica Jung. She is in a very hot Korean girl band called Girls’ Generation. But that’s not why we’re wishing her a happy birthday. We’re wishing her a happy birthday to show you this video, quite possibly the worst ceremonial opening pitch we’ve ever seen. Hold on, great wind-up but no delivery.”

To this, Pardon the Interruption’s other co-MC, Michael Wilbon could be heard explaining the reasons behind the gravity throw saying, “It’s just the release point. That’s all it is. It’s the release point.”
