Kang Ji Hwan revealed that he has been filming despite his injury.

During open filming site and press conference for KBS2’s Big Man, which took place on May 27 in Gyonggi province, Kang Ji Hwan said, “I fractured my big toe while filming an action scene. The situation is not too good, but I’ve been filming hard.”

Kang Ji Hwan also said, “One of the difficulties is that the scripts have been coming out later and we’ve been pressed with time. We would film two episodes in three days and sometimes spend two nights sleeping in the van but thankfully the filming has been going smoothly.”

About recording a two digit viewership rating recently, Kang Ji Hwan said, “Our drama started off with 2.2% and recorded 10.3%. The rating went up by five times. 10% might be a small number, but it means a lot to us. It’s the result of everyone working hard. It makes me happy to prove that an actor has to compete with story and acting ability.”
