B.A.P Ranks High on International iTunes Hip-Hop Charts
B.A.P has taken over iTunes′ hip-hop charts with its second single Power.
According to the iTunes Store′s Top 10 Hip-Hop Album Chart on April 28 (American local time), B.A.P′s Power came in first in Canada and New Zealand. The single was also number two in America and Australia and number three in Japan.
The feat is all the more meaningful as the group managed to beat out global stars like Jay-Z and Kanye West on the chart despite the fact that B.A.P only performed the single two times on KBS′ Music Bank and MBC′s Music Core since the single′s release on April 27.
B.A.P is continuing its successful streak as a rookie, taking over the iTunes charts soon after its debut single Warrior managed to rank number 10 on Billboard′s World Album Chart.
On the April 28 broadcast of MBC′s Music Core, the group garnered praise for its music-video quality performance. It plans to continue on its promotions, performing for the first time on SBS′ Inkigayo on April 29.
