Kim Woo Bin Lost 3 KG Filming the Judo Scene in ‘The Heirs’
Kim Woo Bin revealed that he lost 3 kg while filming a judo scene in The Heirs.
The actor was selected to model for the cover page of the December issue of a hallyu magazine COK.
Kim Woo Bin posed in front of the camera, showing charismatic poses, which come naturally as he is top model as well as an actor, and was later interviewed about his current hit drama The Heirs.
“It was my first time doing judo when I filmed the scene. Luckily, my father in the drama, Choi Jin Ho, is a former judo player so I went earlier to learn some moves from him. I had fun filming the scene, but I realized I lost 3 kg afterwards,” said the actor.
Acting as a high school student in both the drama and his recent movie Friend 2, Kim Woo Bin denied being concerned about taking on seemingly similar roles.
He said, “I always write out the biography of my role. Each character was brought up in different environments, experiencing different things. So it’s up to me to show the differences in my acting. I also think that I can’t take on the role of a high school student once I get older, so I’m thankful for this opportunity.”
Kim Woo Bin has been starring as a devil-like boy ‘Choi Young Do’ in The Heirs and acted as Jang Dong Gun’s son in the recently released movie Friend 2.
Kim Woo Bin’s interview will be included in the December issue of COK.
