Jang Keun Suk Says ′Pretty Boy′ is More Important than His Popularity
Jang Keun Suk shared his thoughts on his previous dramas, which had both succeeded, and failed in terms of popularity.
On November 18, Jang Keun Suk attended the press conference for his upcoming drama Pretty Boy along with the other cast of the drama, including IU, Lee Jang Woo and Han Chae Young.
On the success and failure of his previous dramas, Jang Keun Suk said, “Before I even talk about success and failure, I would like to say my goal is to show my presence as an actor in a drama. If I cannot have that presence, it is my fault.”
The actor continued to share his thoughts on acting, “I am still young. Instead of trying to be a big star at once, I want to try acting in different roles, to strengthen my acting skills.”
Jang Keun Suk continued to show his passions when he said, “I choose dramas that can make what I have as cons into pros. I want my dramas to be successful, but even if it isn’t, I don’t fear to act in the next one. I am always ready and waiting to act in the next drama.”
Wanting to regain his image as an actor, Jang Keun Suk chose his next project to be Pretty Boy, where he will be acting as the pretty man ‘Dokko Matte,’ who is on a mission to find and conquer ten successful women.
Pretty Boy will air its first episode on November 20.
