Taking its success in Korea to Japan, Infinite’s newly released album found itself at the top of the Oricon Charts.

Infinite’s ‘New Challenge’ Rises to the Top of Oricon Charts

According to Oricon’s Imported Album charts, Infinite’s New Challenge album confidently sat at the number one spot for the week of April 15. New Challenge was also at the top for the week of April 8.

On the surprise rise, Woollim Entertainment stated, “The Infinite members were all very happy with the unexpected news. They were all working hard to prepare for their first Japanese album for June while carrying out Korean promotions and it seems this news made all of their tiredness go away.”

On April 10, Infinite announced the news of the June release of its Japanese studio album through its Japanese official webpage. It will be the group’s first official album since debuting in Japan.

Meanwhile, Infinite is currently sweeping up number one trophies on various music programs.
