Sung Yuri Reveals Her Attachment to Acting
Former Fin.K.L. member Sung Yuri revealed her strong attachment to acting.
She attended a press conference for MBC’s upcoming drama Feast of the Gods, which was held on January 31 in Seoul, alongside other lead cast members.
When asked which she preferred, acting or singing, she answered, “I like both of them, but I prefer acting for now. I like it because viewers smile and cry along with me while watching me acting.”
She added with a smile, “And I’m not good at singing. Acting, too……But I’ll work harder on acting.”
In the upcoming drama, Sung Yuri will be playing the role of Go Jun Young, a girl who′s naturally talented in cooking. Joo Sang Wook plays Choi Chae Ha while Lee Sang Woo plays Kim Do Yuk, both rivals in love for Sung Yuri, while another former girl group member, Seo Hyun Jin of MILK, will play Go Jun Young’s rival Ha In Ju who lives the life of Go Jun Young by a twist of fate.
The drama, which will be unfolding against the backdrop of the mecca of Korean traditional court cuisine, Arirang, will premiere on February 4 as a follow-up to Hooray For Love.
