Lee Dong Wook Says He Learned More about Variety on the Last Episode of ′Strong Heart′
Lee Dong Wook said some meaningful goodbyes on the last episode of Strong Heart.
SBS′ Strong Heart met its conclusion with its February 12 broadcast, the ′Girls and Uncles Special′.
When asked to say goodbye to his viewers at the end of the episode, Lee Dong Wook said, "I really wanted to say this when I received the MC Rookie Award at the Entertainment Awards last year. I didn′t get to say it because there were so many seniors there at the time."
"When I was just an actor, I thought I would look good in variety shows if I just remained seated while carrying myself with a weight, showing minimum reactions," he said. "I felt, however, after appearing [regularly] in variety that this is not true, and that there′s a whole new world out there. I want to thank Strong Heart for teaching me this, and the viewers also for watching on even with my inadequate skills."
Lee Dong Wook has hosted Strong Heart with Shin Dong Yeop ever since Lee Seung Gi departed from the show. He managed to show off a new, witty wide to himself, which contrasts from his serious and calm roles in dramas.
Shin Dong Yeop also said in farewell, "Viewers suddenly got to met with Mr. Lee Dong Wook and I every Tuesday night at 11 p.m. due to Mr. Kang Ho Dong′s departure. I hope you all like the new program that′s coming up also."
