Super Junior’s Leeteuk and Ji Hyun Woo Participate in Army Musical
The stars currently serving in the military have gathered to participate in a musical together.
The musical, called The Promise, which is hosted by the Ministry of National Defense, is about the 6.25 war in Korea and how a group of soldiers keep a promise made with each other.
The musical was created to commemorate the 60th anniversary since the 6.25 war in 1950.
The musical stars Super Junior’s Leeteuk, 8eight’s Lee Hyun, Supernova’s Yoon Hak, actors Ji Hyun Woo, Jung Tae Woo, musical actor Kim Moo Yul, and many other famed individuals currently serving in the army.
The official Twitter for The Promise released teaser photos of the cast during their poster photo shoot on December 10, showing a group of strong Korean soldiers who are using their talents to serve the country.
The musical will run from January 8 to January 20, 2013 at the National Theater near Dongkook University.
This isn’t the first time the army has put on musicals. In 2009, Kangta and Yang Dong Geun featured in Mine and in 2010, Lee Joon Gi also put on a show during his army service.
