tvN Airs Korea′s First Dating Show for Divorced Men and Women, ′Second Proposal Invitation′
Korea′s first dating program featuring a love triangle between contestants who have experienced divorce has started airing on tvN.
TvN′s Second Proposal Ivitation, which aired its first episode on December 5, is a reality program that sends two men and one woman off on a two-day-long date to find their matches. The show first aired a pilot version in September, and after a viewer poll, became an official show with a regular time slot due to popular demand.
The show is also the first to grab a time slot through viewer votes.
In the first episode that aired on December 5, the female contestant showed her sincerity through her two dates with the two different men.
Her first man was the head of an advertising agency but didn′t seem to know how to put together a good date. The woman was left outside of his home to fare for herself in subzero temperatures, and he confused her with his menus and sudden massage attempts.
He did seem to have prepared much for the date, but he only ended up confusing the woman, showing that he was a man who didn′t know how to act around women.
The woman′s second date, on the other hand, managed to win her hand with his manners and enjoyable date. The man was a good looking man working in the IT industry and led his date with a kind and joyful attitude. He was surprised, though, when the woman said she had a child from her previous marriage.
The realistic situations and the sincere dates received much attention from viewers, and managed to garner 1.2 percent in viewership ratings. The real ′love triangle date′ is expected to happen in the next episode, drawing interest on what will happen to the contestants next. The contestants will also start to open up about their life stories.
Second Proposal Invitation airs every Wednesday night.
