Still Cuts of Uee as Bewitched Woman for ‘Woochi’ Released
The first official still cuts of Uee in character for her upcoming historic-fantasy drama have been released.
In KBS’ Woochi, Uee plays Hong Moo Yeon, the former love of Jeon Woochi (Cha Tae Hyu) who becomes cast under a spell that leaves her absent of any emotions as she is controlled by an evil force.
Though she’s known more as the mood-maker on set with her bright and positive personality, once the cameras begin rolling she is said to have transformed flawlessly into her sullen and cold character.
The still cuts shows Uee with her hair tied and in a sky blue hanbok, looking on expressionless. Another batch of still cuts shows her with her hair down in a pink patterned hanbok, maintaining her icy look.
The scenes from the still cuts were shot earlier last month in Youngju in Gyeongsangbuk-do. Filming with co-star Lee Hui Jun, the two could be seen laughing and joking around in between takes but transforming completely into their serious characters once the cue was given.
One drama staff member shared, “Uee is a very playful actor and is 100 percent different from her Hong Moo Yeong character. But when the shooting is happening, she becomes 100 percent in-sync with Hong Moo Yeon, making it clear just how much effort she puts into her acting.”
The drama premieres on November 21.
