Lee Ki Woo To Host Cooking Show
If you caught the special clip at the end of Cool Guys, Hot Ramen′s 8th episode, featuring ′genius chef′ Lee Ki Woo teaching you how to make chicken soup ramen, then this news will probably have you leaping for joy.
Lee Ki Woo, who′s currently starring in tvN’s Cool Guys, Hot Ramen as a spectacularly lazy, but genius chef, has been chosen as a host of cable channel Olive’s cooking show, Food Essay-Heartthrob’s Ramen Recipe.
Lee apparently retained some of his character′s skills, as he′ll introduce his own ramen recipes, as well as other ramen goodies, including authentic Japanese ramen to instant ramyun. In a slightly oddball twist, Lee is planning to spice up the show by comparing his own views on ramen with his character Choi Kang Hyuk’s. We′re hoping that means he′ll be sitting there debating with himself - even though we′re not quite sure how that′ll work.
Lee said, “I love ramen to the point that I can probably eat it for all three meals. Once you watch my ramen cooking, you will surely want to eat ramen within 24 hours.”
The first episode of the show, set to air on November 28, 11:30am, will cover Japanese traditional ramen ‘Shio ramen’ and a chashu (barbecued meat) rice dish. The show will also show the actor on the set of Cool Guys, Hot Ramen as well as Lee′s house.
The cooking show is scheduled to air every Monday and Tuesday, 11:30am and 9:30pm for three weeks starting from November 28.
