Rainbow’s Jae Kyung, Comedian Jo Hye Ryeon Joins Jung Juri and Others for Women′s Version of ‘The Laws of the Jungle”
Move over Kim Byung Man because the women are eager to show they can fare just as well in the jungles as the men.
After much deliberation and negotiations, SBS has confirmed the five members forming the new tribe for the of its upcoming The Law of the Jungle W are actress Lee Soo Kyung and Jo An, comedian Jo Hye Ryeon and Jung Juri and Rainbow’s Jae Kyung.
The new women-tribe will leave for Papua New Guina in the South Pacific on October 22 to begin filming for approximately a month. The lone, and lucky guy, who will join the five women is actor Park Sang Myun. The show will also mark a comeback for Jo Hye Ryeon who has largely stayed out of the spotlight since her public divorce.
The show is a spin-off of the popular The Laws of the Jungle show which has taken Kim Byung Man and other male celebrities in some of the most remote and untamed parts of the world. A Chuseok special, women’s-only edition aired last month to favorable reviews.
The premiere episode will air sometime in November.
