So long as you’re a healthy, male citizen of Korea, no one can escape the country’s two-year mandatory military service—not even celebrities.

And while we dread sending our favorite stars off to the army, it’s more reason to be proud of the men who have represented the best of Korea.

Following the announcements earlier today that Super Junior’s Leeteuk and 8eight’s Lee Hyun would be enlisting in the army next month, we were reminded of the celebrities currently doing Korea proud as brave soldiers.

So, for this week’s poll, we want to know which buzzed and brave celebrity soldier do you miss the most?

[Poll] Which Celebrity Soldier Do You Miss the Most?

Rain

Rain has proved his talents as a singer and actor through various hit songs as well as dramas and films in Korea and abroad, but if he ever decides the world star thing isn’t for him, he has other options.

We know it takes a more than a few tests to become a pilot, but if Rain’s scores are any indication, the singer and actor, who played a pilot in film R2B: Return to Base, is certainly already ahead of the game.

Although Rain was unable to participate in the film’s promotions due to his service, he made sure to show face in the best way—unexpectedly.

Superstar? Superhero? Sometimes, even we’re not sure what to call the ace singer, actor and, now, soldier.

[Poll] Which Celebrity Soldier Do You Miss the Most?

Hyun Bin

Our favorite corporal Hyun Bin is set to be relieved of his duties in December, and we’re sure fans are counting down the days to his homecoming.

Hyun Bin has certainly done his part during his two years in the army, not only as a Marine, even traveling to Indonesia, but in the PR unit, after being promoted to corporal.

Not to mention he wears the heck out of a uniform. And sweats. But we much prefer him in civilian clothes. Hurry back to us, Hyun Bin!

[Poll] Which Celebrity Soldier Do You Miss the Most?

Ji Hyun Woo

We know it can get lonely in the army sometimes, so Ji Hyun Woo is one lucky man, considering he not only has fans hoping the next two years fly by but a real life leading lady to write him love letters during his service.

No wonder he was all smiles at his sendoff on August 7.

The actor entered the army last month after wrapping up a highly successful drama, tvN’s Queen In Hyun’s Man and declaring hisrequited love for costar Yoo In Na.

[Poll] Which Celebrity Soldier Do You Miss the Most?

Heechul

With so many Super Junior members, we’ll admit even we have a hard time keeping up with the boys, but member Heechul’s absence, as he is currently serving out his military duties, has left a noticeable mark.

Heechul entered the army in September of last year, which means the Super Junior member is halfway there! Three hundred fans gathered to say their goodbyes to the singer, who appeared unusually bashful with his buzz cut.

We hope the army hasn’t calmed Heechul down too much and cannot wait to have him back in all of his crazy glory.

[Poll] Which Celebrity Soldier Do You Miss the Most?

Leeteuk

Okay, so Super Junior’s leader, Leeteuk, isn’t a soldier just yet and his enlistment date is over a month away, but this is probably one countdown the fans are not looking forward to.

Alas, the date has been set, and we’re sure fans will be sending tons of support his way in the meantime.

It may be too soon to call Leeteuk a private, but the thought of not being able to see him on TV kills us a little inside, and that’s why we decided to include him in this week’s poll.

So which handsome soldier do you miss the most? Let us know by voting!
