RaNia is getting some major assistance for its comeback.

As previously reported, RaNia will be making a comeback this week as a revamped, five member group.

It was revealed on September 21 that the group’s new digital single, Style and its music, choreography, music video and style was all handled directly by Yang Hyun Suk himself.

The title song, Style is also the joint work of YG Entertainment’s in-house producer Choi Pil Kang and Tablo.

The reason for Yang Hyun Suk’s assistance goes back to the 90s when Yang Hyun Suk first created his own agency and launched his first group, Keep6, which ended up an utter failure.

On the verge of bankruptcy, the current CEO of RaNia’s agency, DR Music, provided a single room in an office building basement for Yang Hyun Suk.

Through his second chance there, Yang Hyun Suk was able to successfully launch Jinusean in 1997 which would lead to the success and growth of YG Entertainment through artists such as 1TYM, Lexy, Se7en and more.

On his involvement with Rania’s comeback, Yang Hyun Suk commented, “Aside from the request from an individual who I will always be indebted to, RaNia and its debut track Feel Good were attention-grabbing from the beginning and even were recommended by broadcast industry insiders as a rookie girl group to watch.”

He added, “With the help of an individual who was a source of strength for me in my most difficult time, I hope I can be of some help to this high potential rookie group.”

Style will drop in the afternoon of September 21 while the group will hold its comeback stage on September 22 on MBC’s Music Core
