T-ara has postponed its Seoul concert.

T-ara was originally scheduled to hold its first independent T-ara concert in Seoul on August 11 at Seoul’s Indoors Stadium in Jamsil. However, T-ara’s agency, Core Contents Media (CCM) has confirmed speculations that the concert would be postponed.

A representative for CCM revealed the news on August 1 saying, “The T-ara members met with CEO Kim Kwang Soo yesterday (July 31) and shared with him, ‘With so much disturbance the issue is causing, we don’t believe that in this situation we can show our fans a delighted, bright and vigorous side of us to our fans. We also don’t believe our fans will find joy in such an appearance either,’ and asked for the concert to be postponed.”

After much contemplation, it was decided by the agency that the concert would be postponed to sometime at the end of this year.

The representative also refuted reports that large number of fans had been asking for refunds for the upcoming concert and said only about 20 to 30 refund requests had been received by the concert’s reservation company, Interpark, and that an official announcement from the reservation site on the concert ticket refunds would be issued soon.

Lastly, the representative shared that promotional activities for Day By Day had concluded and the group would focus on the respective acting work of So Yeon, Hyo Min and Ham Eun Jung.
