SHINee Says Arena Tour Was Big Help For Concert
SHINee said it learned much from its recent Arena tour in Japan.
At the press conference for its SHINee World 2 in Seoul concert held on July 22, the members said, “It was an experience in which we could learn a lot and mature once more.”
The members all agreed that its Arena tour, which toured through Fukuoka, Hokkaido, Nagoya, Osaka, Kobe, Tokyo and Hiroshima from April 25 to July 1 and gathered 200,000 fans to break the Korean record for the biggest Arena tour audience, was “a great experience.”
Jonghyun said, “We figured out how to draw energy while performing in front of a big crowd of fans. We also learned how to enjoy being onstage.” Minho added, “We’ve made strong not only our ties among the members but also our ties with the audience. It was a great experience.”
About their second exclusive concert, the members said confidently, “It’s an extension of our first concert. We prepared for our performances while looking forward to when we’ll perform them. Those who watch our concert will be able to go home with smiles on their faces.”
The group managed to indeed entertain its 20,000-member audience with its 29 performances, including those for original hits Replay, Ring Ding Dong and Lucifer, tracks from its fourth mini album such as Sherlock, its Japan singles Always Love and To Your Heart as well as each member’s solo performance.
SHINee plans to continue its SHINee World 2 Asia tour in Taipei and Singapore.
