A source from the drama’s production shared, “While making efforts to expand our tight script’s strength as much as possible, writer Lee Young Chul, director Jun Gi Sang and the entire staff is working hard to create a solid production with a distinct Korean flavor. Sulli, Minho, Lee Hyun Woo and the other actors are continuously studying to flesh out their characters and are displaying close ties to the drama.”

To the Beautiful You’s script was written by Lee Young Chul, who wrote the High Kick series and will be helmed by director Jun Gi Sang, who last directed the hit drama Boys Over Flowers three years ago.

In addition to Sulli and Minho, the drama also stars a list of established and rookie actors, including Lee Hyun Woo, Kim Ji Won, Lee Ah Hyun, Ki Tae Young and more.

To the Beautiful You is a remake of the popular Japanese manga series Hanazakari no Kimitachie and will premiere on SBS on August 15.
