Say goodbye to ‘Chunderella’ and hello to the charismatic warrior Lee Chun Hee.

New character still cuts of Lee Chun Hee in character for his upcoming MBC drama One Thousandth Man were revealed by MBC.

Sporting a long wig and the clothes of a warrior, Lee Chun Hee plays warrior Kim Eung Seok, a Goryeo Dynasty warrior who is told he is suffering from a terminal disease and has three months left to live.

During this time he comes to meet a gumiho, the mythical nine-tailed fox/woman, named Koo Mi Jin in the drama, and played by Kang Yeh Won.

Koo Mi Jin must devour the livers of a thousand men to finally become human and comes to meet and fall in love with Kim Eung Seok after having already consumed the livers of 999 men.

Lee Chun Hee Dons Period Wear for ‘One Thousandth Man’

Following the successful first shooting for the drama, Lee Chun Hee shared, “From the first day of filming, the teamwork between the actors was great which led to the filming being quite fun. I’ve done a lot of different work but this drama, from its synopsis, has been very fresh.”

One Thousandth Man will premiere on MBC in mid-August.
