Hello, this is CJ E&M.


As we thank you for using our services, we would like to notify you of change in storing method (Separate storage) of personal information of users with dormant accounts. This is to protect personal information of our users who have not used our services for a long term and minimize the size of personal information storage.

 Main contents

Accounts of members who have not logged in to CJ E&M service through PC, mobile web or mobile app for more than 1 year will be processed as dormant accounts. (Accounts with any payment history are excluded.)

 Processing method

- CJ ONE members: Separate storage of personal information

- Processing period: Everyday

 Enforcement Date

August 18, 2015


- If your account satisfies all of the following conditions, it is considered a dormant account.

 No log-in history to CJ E&M PC, mobile web and mobile app services for more than 1 year.
 No history of CJ E&M customer service usage for more than 1 year.
 No record of payment within 1 year

- Personal information of CJ ONE members dormant accounts to be stored separately:

 Any personal information collected through registration and stored.

 However, in accordance with electronic commerce laws and other related laws, point accumulation/usage and purchase records are stored for 5 years from the date of occurrence.

 Related Statute

In accordance with the Act on Promotion of Information and Communication Network Utilization and Information Protection, Article 29, section 2, pursuant to Article 16 of the Enforcement Decree.

If you do not wish your personal information to be stored and cared separately, log in to CJ E&M service through PC, mobile web and mobile app more than once, then your account will be excluded from the subject list.
