'Drunken Tiger' is a Korea's best selling and most respected Korean-American rap group like successful rappers as P.Diddy and Nelly. 'Drunken Tiger' now has only one member 'Tiger JK', the group started as a duo, with Tiger JK & DJ Shine. In 1999, when packaged pop and redundant ballads dominated Korea's music scene, Drunken Tiger debuted and challenged the system with their unique hip-hop sound and realistic lyrics.
The member 'DJ Shine' left 'Drunken Tiger' in 2005 after its 5th album and 'Tiger JK' has gone on as a solo act, successfully releasing a 6th album & 7th album, as well as several singles. On November 11, 2009, 'Drunken Tiger' won the MAMA (MNet Asian Music Awards) Best Male Artist of the Year award. This group is part of Movement, a Korean hip-hop crew, which includes several other well-known hip-hop artists: Honey Family, Dynamic Duo, T, Sean2Slow, Buga Kingz, Epik High, Explicit Linez, Leessang, Yang Dong Gun, Eun Ji Won, Double K, TBNY, Insane Deegie, Bobby Kim, Ann.
