April′s So Min to Leave Group After Just 3 Months
The announcement that April′s leader So Min will be withdrawing from the group is attracting attention.
April′s agency, DSP, announced on its official website on November 9 that So Min withdrew from the group and that April will be restructured as a five-member group.
DSP stated the reasons behind So Min′s withdrawal, saying "As of today, So Min will leave the group and embark on a new beginning. So Min had been thinking a lot about her path recently and after relaying these thoughts to the company, we spent plenty of time having discussions."
The agency continued, "After long deliberations between the company and So Min, we decided to respect So Min′s opinion and restructure the team."
Meanwhile, April made its debut this year with mini album Dreaming. Housed under the same agency as Kara, the group was dubbed the ′2nd Kara′. Following So Min′s exit, the remaining members Chae Won, Hyun Joo, Ye Na, Na Eun and Jin Sol will continue to promote as a team.
