Monsta X Rises to Top of Hanteo Chart

Monsta X, who is currently promoting Hero, the follow-up to Rush, has topped the Hanteo Chart.

Monsta X′s agency, Starship Entertainment, stated on November 9, "Monsta X′s second mini album Rush is number one in album sales on Hanteo Chart as of November 8. Although two months have passed since the second mini album was released, we believe this is due to the explosive response follow-up track Hero has been receiving. Thank you to the fans once again, and we will do our best to show that we′re working hard."

Monsta X Rises to Top of Hanteo Chart

Monsta X won the 1theK Performance Award at the 2015 MelOn Music Awards (MMA), held at the Olympic Park Gymnastics Arena on November 7. The members, who weren′t expecting to win, said through tears, "Thank you so much." In its seventh year, the stars who shined this year gathered at the 2015 MMA to present special performances.

Monsta X released Hero (Broadcasting Ver.) on October 22. Hero was produced by Punch Sound, the main producer at Brand New Music, and features a unique brass sound and sub bass. The melody weaves freely between major and minor keys, creating an unforgettable sound. The song′s performance aspect has been attracting attention as well as the members perform the refined choreography in sexy suits.

The agency stated, "Not only has Hero been recording explosive views on various portal sites immediately following the broadcast, [Monsta X] is receiving a more enthusiastic response than ever before."
