iKON ′Showtime′ Tickets Sell Out Immediately
Tickets for iKON′s debut concert Showtime sold out immediately, confirming the group′s explosive popularity.
Ticketing for Showtime, which will be held at the Olympic Park Gymnastics Arena on October 3, began at 8 p.m. KST on September 16 through Interpark and all open seats were booked immediately.
It′s rare for a rookie group to hold a concert at a large-scale venue like the Olympic Park Gymnastics Arena, and the fact that tickets were booked so quickly affirms the public′s interest in iKON.
The October 3 concert will mark the first time iKON is meeting fans following the release of warm-up single My Type, which swept music charts, on September 15 and the first half of the group′s debut album Welcome Back on October 1.
The iKON members will be spending a meaningful time with fans, who have supported and waited a long time for iKON′s debut, to talk intimately about the album and their debut as well as to express their gratitude to the fans. They will also be performing songs from their debut album Welcome Back.
A second round of ticketing is planned for September 21 for those who were unable to get advance sale tickets.
Meanwhile, iKON, who is gaining popularity with warm-up single My Type, is set to release the first half of debut album Welcome Back on October 1, ahead of the group′s upcoming concert, and the full album on November 2.
