Scars Deeper Than Love was released as a duet with Yim Jae Bum and Park Jung Hyun in 1997 and is still loved 19 years later. Taeyeon was picked as Yim Jae Bum′s partner for the remake not only as SNSD′s main vocalist but because she has received recognition for her singing ability through solo songs If and Can You Hear Me.

A rep stated, "Taeyeon displayed her superb song interpretation skills and emotions through the duet. Backed by strong vocals, they created a masterpiece harmony.

Meanwhile, Yim Jae Bum will be releasing a new album in September or October as well as holding an exclusive concert at the Olympic Park Gymnastics Gymnasium on October 30 and 31.
