SNSD to Appear on U.S. Version of ′Grandpa Over Flowers′
Girls′ Generation (SNSD) will be appearing as a special guest on the U.S. version of tvN′s Grandpa Over Flowers.
SNSD will be making a surprise appearance on NBC′s Better Late Than Never, a new program NBC imported and adapted from tvN′s Grandpa Over Flowers, and filming is scheduled to take place this weekend at the SMTOWN Coex Artium.
Better Late Than Never is a travel reality program that stars famous American comedians, actors and former athletes Jeff Dye, Henry Wrinkler, William Shatner, Terry Bradshaw and George Foreman and documents their adventures as they immerse themselves in local cultures.
SNSD′s appearance on Better Late Than Never is garnering attention as the group is well known in the U.S., having appeared on CBS′ David Letterman Show and ABC′s LIVE with Kelly in 2012, the first for a Korean artist, won Video of the Year at the 2013 YouTube Music Awards and was named one of Time′s Top 10 Songs of 2013.
Meanwhile, SNSD′s fifth full-length album, featuring double title songs Lion Heart and You Think, has been well-received, and the group is set to make its music program comeback on KBS′ Music Bank on August 21, MBC′s Music Core on August 22 and SBS′ Inkigayo on August 23.
