SM Addresses f(x) Comeback Rumors
A source from f(x)′s side addressed rumors of the group′s comeback in September, stating "It hasn′t been decided."
A rep from f(x)′s agency, SM Entertainment, stated on August 13, "It′s true f(x) is working on a new album, but the release date hasn′t been decided yet."
Earlier today, one media outlet reported that f(x) is releasing its fourth full-length album at the end of September.
F(x) previously stated that it′s planning on a September comeback, gathering interest among fans. The group held a press conference ahead of their recent performance at the 2015 London Korean Festival at Trafalgar Square on August 9, where they talked about plans for a comeback as four members and former member Sulli.
When asked about comeback plans, Krystal stated, "We′re currently preparing for a comeback and will return sometime in the fall."
One reporter said, "There are concerns that the group will not be continuing, please talk about that," to which Luna said, "First, f(x) will continue on as four members."
Victoria added, "We are going to promote hard. The other members will also engage in diverse individual activities, and along with Sulli, we will all continue to cheer each other on and wish each other the best."
Meanwhile, SM confirmed Sulli′s withdrawal from the group on August 7, stating "F(x) will be reorganized as four members. After discussing with Sulli, who has minimized her activities and is currently taking a break, and respecting her wishes, she has decided to withdraw from the group and focus on acting."
