EXO′s D.O Reveals He′s Filming ′Pure Love′ by Recalling Past Crushes
EXO′s D.O shared his thoughts on acting a ′first love′ story.
An open shoot for movie Pure Love was held at Jeomam Elementary School in Jeollanam-do on July 28, where D.O began by saying "I′m 23 years old."
In the upcoming film, D.O plays 17-year-old Bum Shil, who stays by Soo Ok′s (Kim So Hyun′s character) side through her sickness and expresses his feelings for her by gifting the girl who loves music with cassette tapes.
D.O continued, "But I′ve had crushes in elementary school, middle school and high school. I think those experiences are coming out in Pure Love. I look at So Hyun and think about those times. I′m happy to be acting while thinking about those feelings I had when I had crushes."
Pure Love is about a letter from the past delivered to a live radio show and the love and friendship of five friends. Set in Jeonnam Goheung, the film is expected to include beautiful scenery.
The movie is directed by Lee Eun Hee and stars actor-dol EXO′s D.O, Kim So Hyun, Yeon Jun Suk, Lee David and Joo Da Young. Park Yong Woo, Park Hae Jun, Kim Ji Ho and Lee Bum Soo will make special appearances as the adult characters.
