So Ji Sub Has A Lot of Respect for Yoo Jae Suk
“I really respect him,” said actor So Ji Sub, who sat down with enews for an exclusive interview in Seoul on October 13 and only had high praise for ‘the nation’s MC’ Yoo Jae Suk.
The actor appeared on MBC’s Infinity Challenge last month, surprising viewers with his hidden variety skills. But when the topic of his appearance on the show came up, he said, “I really think I’m not suited for entertainment programs.”
He said recording Infinity Challenge was harder and more painful than filming Always. So said, “It was painful trying to pull out everything I had in me.”
“The six members are always tense on set. If someone gets a good laugh, the next person is stressed out, but if the person before him isn’t funny, then the stress is greater,” revealed the actor. “I think it’s really hard to make people laugh and to make viewers happy.”
Th actor continued, “Yoo Jae Suk is an extraordinary person in that regard. It’s not easy to overcome the tension and make people laugh on all of those programs.” He continued with a laugh, “I was shocked by Yoo Jae Suk’s and Park Myung Soo’s talent, and I realized once again that I variety is not my place.”
Meanwhile, So stars as a boxer who falls in love with a woman, played by Han Hyo Joo, who is slowly losing her eyesight in Always. The film is set to be released on October 20.
