As a dedicated and passionate actress, Park Shin Hye willingly volunteered herself in a dangerous stunt to complete a scene in KBS’ Don’t Worry, I’m a Ghost.

On July 9, Park Shin Hye tweeted, “I’m this kind of girl.”

The photo she attached showed the actress submerged deep underwater, wearing a school uniform.

She was acting a scene for her upcoming one-episode drama special, where she had to get 5 meters underwater. Although a dangerous scene, Park Shin Hye challenged herself and managed to film the scene without a stunt double.

The filming ran late into the night, but she continued with no complaints, as this particular scene was very important to the drama’s plot.

“Park Shin Hye might be athletic but this five meter underwater scene was deemed very difficult and a stunt double of actually waiting to film on the side,” said a representative of her company. “But because she’s was so emerged in her role as Yeon Hwa, she expressed wanting to take on the challenge and successfully completed the underwater scene to the surprise of everyone, including the stunt double.”

Set to air on July 15, Don’t Worry, I’m a Ghost is about a man who loses all of his memory and an adorable female ghost who chases him around. Park Shin Hye will be working with Bong Tae Gyu in this project.
