[Video] So Hyang Takes Korea by Storm with Her Amazing Rendition of ‘I Have Nothing’
Dubbed as Korea’s Mariah Carey, So Hyang managed to rock Korea with her undeniable talent and received the number spot for her first performance on I’m a Singer 2
On July 8, So Hyang made her debut on MBC’s I’m a Singer 2.
There, she sang her version of Whitney Houston’s I Have Nothing, which caused audience members as well as viewers get goosebumps from her amazing performance where she was able to reach all of her high notes.
Having started her singing career as a CCM (Christian Contemporary Music) artist in 1996, So Hyang’s talent shone through and earned her a spot on I’m a Singer where she competed with top singers in Korea.
Although it was first appearance on the show, So Hyang was voted as the most anticipated artist by the audience members and later voted as the best performer on the July 8 broadcast.
HaHa tweeted a message of support to the singer, along with other people who were completely blown away by her performance.
So Hyang made previous appearances on television through Star King and participated in the Dream High OST.
