MBLAQ’s G.O Reveals He Gained 10 Kg During Hiatus
MBLAQ returned as a three member group after a seven month hiatus, and the members opened up about how they were affected by former members Cheondung and Lee Joon’s exits.
MBLAQ kicked off promotions for eighth mini album Mirror with a comeback showcase, held at the Ilchi Art Hall in Seoul’s Cheongdam-dong on June 9.
The three members took turns sharing how they coped with Cheon Dung and Lee Joon′s exits.
Mir and G.O revealed that they turned to “virtual reality” a.k.a games.
G.O said, “If I didn’t focus on something, my heart would start beating faster, and I couldn’t stop thinking about it, so I needed something I could do mindlessly.”
G.O also revealed that he gained a shocking 10 kg in a month, and it took seeing himself in the mirror, coincidentally, to turn his life back around.
“When I looked in the mirror, I didn’t look like a human,” said G.O. “I thought this isn’t it, so I lost weight and while working on the track, I thought, ‘Mirror’ would be nice.”
