Lim Seulong Opens Up About Going Solo and Approaching 30
Having recently wrapped up tvN drama Hogu′s Love, Lim Seulong is ready to take on his next project: his first solo album.
The 2AM member, who released his first solo album Normal on May 22, sat down with fashion magazine Singles to talk about stepping out on his own.
"On one hand, I′m nervous and happy, but on the other hand, the thought of having to take on all of the responsibility worries me," said Lim Seulong on releasing his first album.
Lim Seulong, who took the reigns, from production to the overall concept and music video and even budgeting, continued, "I′ve released a lot of albums and I know the production process as well as the business side to a certain extent, but it was my first time personally running around with just my manager to prepare the album, so it was largely a matter of trial and error."
When asked if the 2AM members have heard the album, Lim Seulong said, "Everyone is so crazy busy, so I haven′t been able to give them all a listen yet. I saw Jin Woon briefly yesterday, so I let him listen to it. I showed him the music video, and he said he really liked it."
Lim Seulong, who recently celebrated his birthday, opened up about approaching his 30s, saying "I don′t think that much will change. In some ways, I think every day is changing. I′m not 30 yet, so I don′t know, but I think I′m moving along just fine. When I turn 30...hm, I think it′ll be better?"
