Big Bang′s T.O.P and Ueno Juri Cast in New Korean-Japanese Drama
Representing Korea and Japan, Big Bang′s T.O.P and Ueno Juri have been cast in a new drama together.
On March 31, it was revealed that Korea′s CJ E&M and Japan′s Amuse INC. have joined hands to co-produce a new drama that will be catered to fans around the world. With both companies having much experience in creating good quality content, the drama starring T.O.P and Ueno Juri is already being anticipated.
The title of the drama is yet to be revealed, but the drama is about a Korean man named Woo Hyun and a Japanese woman named Haruka. After receiving much hurt from their first loves, Woo Hyun and Haruka try to find new romance.
In charge of this project, CJ E&M′s Lee Seung Hoon PD stated, "After a year of planning, we′re finally going into production. From the beginning of the planning process, we had T.O.P and Ueno Juri in mind, so we′re very happy to be able to work with them. As it is a project with top stars from both Korea and Japan, we′ll create a content that will be enjoyable to many people."
The drama has the goal of being broadcasted through various platforms during the second half of 2015.
