SNSD’s Tiffany Chosen as MC for New Mnet Show ‘Heart_a_tag’
Taking charge of a new lifestyle program, Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany will be the MC of Mnet’s Heart_a_tag.
According to Mnet on March 25, Tiffany will be the MC for Heart_a_tag, a new program that shares trending information on different lifestyles.
Heart_a_tag is the first program related to trends in four years since Launch My Life and Trend Report Feel in 2011. The title Heart_a_tag was created based on the heart emoticon and hashtag symbol that is widely used on SNS, going with the meaning of ‘a trend information program that targets the heart.’
Tiffany will be the MC of the program as a popular SNS star, who is also known for her sense of style and trends.
“I’ve always had interest in fashion and beauty, so I’m happy to be part of this as an MC,” said Tiffany. “Using what I’ve experienced during my time on broadcast, I’ll do my best to create an enjoyable time, interacting with viewers.”
“It’s a period of time where making ‘personal tastes’ stick out is respectable,” said Mnet’s Kim Seon Hyung PD. “We won’t just be introducing short-lived trends and new items, but we will work hard to look into various types of lifestyles and create a program where viewers can have mutual communication with each other.”
Heart_a_tag will begin in mid-April.
