Lee Hyori to Meet Jane Goodall in America
Lee Hyori, age 32, is already all for the animals, but she’s aiming to find a way to do more by visiting Jane Goodall, the environmental activist and zoologist, for an interview.
Lee tweeted on October 11, “I’m going to Seattle right now. I have been given the chance to interview the mother of animals and earth, Jane Goodall. I’m so thankful I will be able to meet the person I’ve read about and looked up to. It’s going to be a short trip, 2 nights and 3 days, but I’ll work hard. I’ll try to learn a lot.”
Jane Goodall is a British zoologist and environmental activist who has devoted her entire life to studying chimpanzees and other wild animals. She is also famous as the ‘mother of chimpanzees’.
A rep from Lee Hyori’s agency told enews on October 12, “Lee Hyori left to meet Jane Goodall for a magazine interview. She did not go under the will of the agency but under her own discretion.”
Lee Hyori has been changed into a strong advocate of animal rights, taking up a vegan life and refraining from donning fur clothes. Lee also showed she had become a conservator, stating that she would buy a hybrid car in an interview early this year.
The rep stated, “Lee Hyori has not yet purchased a car. She does not yet own a car after she sold her previous one early this year.”
Lee Hyori is also partaking in various social movements by doing volunteer work at pounds and flood restoration sites.
