BTOB Holds Inauguration Ceremony for Official Japanese Fan Club
Currently promoting in Japan, BTOB held the inauguration ceremony for its official Japanese fan club ‘Melody Japan’ on March 22 at Toyosu Pit in Tokyo.
BTOB’s fan club inauguration ceremony gathered around 3,000 fans from the country as well as the Japanese rock band Luna Sea’s guitarist Inoran. Inoran caught attention by posting up a picture of himself with BTOB on his SNS afterwards.
BTOB’s Japanese fan club inauguration ceremony took place after five months since the group officially debuted in Japan.
It is rare in Japan for a group to hold the fan club inauguration ceremony gathering thousands of fans when it hasn’t even been half a year since its debut.
The BTOB members led the inauguration ceremony with their high level Japanese and humor, carrying on various unforgettable events, including a cake-cutting event, to celebrate the inauguration of ‘Melody Japan.’
BTOB also performed four songs during the event, including the first Japanese original single Tomorrow, to be released on March 25, as well as Sakurairo, Magic Time and Regrets of Love.
Representing the members, leader Seo Eun Kwang read a letter they wrote for the Melody fans, reading, ‘BTOB could be in this spot today thanks to Melody. We’re always grateful and please trust and follow BTOB until the end.’ The fans then responded by holding up slogans that said, ‘Love BTOB.’
Having celebrated its third anniversary in Korea on March 22, BTOB will be releasing the first Japanese original single Tomorrow on March 25 and continue promotions in Japan.
Launching 25 rounds of album release fan events and two rounds of special live concerts, starting with Fukuoka on March 19 and continuing in Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Yokohama and Chiba until March 30, BTOB will be taking a leap to rise as the ‘hallyu rookie’ in Japan.
Having wrapped up the release event on March 23 in Chiba, BTOB will be continuing the release event on March 24 and 25 in Tokyo.
