4minute Concludes ′Crazy′ Promotions with 7 Number One Trophies

After receiving much success, 4minute will be wrapping up promotions for its sixth mini album song Crazy.

As of SBS Inkigayo′s broadcast on March 15, 4minute completed its promotions for its title song Crazy from the sixth mini album, released on February 9. With sharp charisma, the 4minute members stole the hearts of the public, winning a total of seven number one trophies and keeping the pride of being a strong girl group in Korea.

The group′s final stage on Inkigayo especially marked the fifth consecutive week that 4minute has been nominated for number one with Crazy.

With Crazy promotions, the group managed to grab success, set new records, and grow as artists.

The group challenged itself in breaking of the norm in music, choosing ′trap hip-hop′ for the strong characters that the group has held for the longest time. Despite promotions ending, Crazy is still ranked high on online music charts.

Having said they′re giving up on being pretty, 4minute put on fierce performances, gathering interest from both in and outside of Korea, making the views of the Crazy music video to rise to one million after only a day, and close to 10 million views by March 16.

In addition, 4minute has been noticed by news outlets overseas. VICE.com wrote an article titled, "K-Pop Phenoms 4minute Return with a New Agenda," spotlighting the group′s unique colors and status in the K-pop scene.

Billboard also praised 4minute, saying the group spread its wings with Crazy, while FuseTV listed 4minute as one of the best EDM songs of February right alongside Chris Brown.

The 4minute power was strong in China as well, as Crazy ranked number one for four weeks straight on China′s music site, QQ Music′s K-pop chart, while it was number one for two weeks straight on YinYueTai as well. This all occurred without any special promotions in China.

4minute especially grew as one of the representative icons of girl crushes in 2015 with the members′ powerful performances as well as the fashion style, which Heo Ga Yoon personally worked on. Many makeup tutorials and dance covers have been created.

According to Youtube stats on March 16, 31 percent of men and 69 percent of women watched the Crazy music video, confirming 4minute as a girl crush group.

With the successful conclusion of the five weeks promotion period, 4minute, with seven years of experience, has confidently kept its place on top.

According to Cube Entertainment, 4minute will now focus on concerts overseas, starting with its exclusive concert in Myanmar in April.
