Hong Sisters’ New Drama Title Changes with Lee Sung Jae in Talks to Join Cast
The Hong sisters’ drama has confirmed its title and is in the process of casting the leading and supporting cast members.
The drama, which was previously known as Jejudo Gatsby has changed the title to 맨도롱 또똣 (which means feeling good and warm in Jeju dialect). Anticipation is higher than ever since it will be bringing together the Hong sisters and Park Hong Kyun PD once again, since they produced MBC’s The Greatest Love in 2011.
It was previously reported that Kim Woo Bin and Kang Sora are in the process of discussing their appearance in the drama and on March 9, the rumors have spread to Lee Sung Jae’s possible appearance.
CEO Moon Suk Hwan of Born Factory, the drama production company, told Newsen on March 9, “It’s true that we’ve made a casting offer to Lee Sung Jae and both the production team and the agency are positively considering this offer. However, his appearance has not been confirmed yet.”
About Kim Woo Bin and Kang Sora’s appearance, he shared, “It is still undecided. There are still many things to discuss between the agencies and the production team.”
맨도롱 또똣 is set to begin in May, following MBC’s Angry Mom, which will begin on March 18.
