YG Reveals Practice Video of the ‘Future 2NE1’
With the new start of July, YG Entertainment released another video of hopeful trainees, this time titling them as the ‘Future 2NE1.’
On July 1, YG Entertainment released the practice video of four female trainees on its official blog site.
The trainees are said to be 12-13 years old, and judging by the information given in the video, they will make their debut four years later in 2016, when they are at least 16-years old.
The girls performed an impressive dance routine to Usher’s OMG, making it hard for viewers to believe the group was only in their pre-teens.
Towards the end of the video, one of the trainees sang Kelly Rowland’s I’m Dat Chick,’ surprising audiences with her up-to-par skills.
YG Entertainment said, “The young trainees in the video were scouted by YG two years ago when they were 10, 11 years old and have already gone through rigorous training in dance, singing and language in the past two years and are young seeds that we are growing towards the world market in the future.”
With the release of the video, fans are already anticipating this new group and excited to see what YG Entertainment will do with them.
Meanwhile, 2NE1 will make its comeback on July 5 with the release of its new song I Love You, followed by a stage comeback on SBS’ Inkigayo.
