‘Super Junior D&E’ Donghae Decided to Form Unit with Eunhyuk to Stand Out More Visually
Super Junior’s Eunhyuk and Donghae have formed a unit group.
On March 5, Super Junior D&E’s first album release showcase and press conference was held at SM Town COEX Artium in Samsung-dong, during which the two members shared the reason they formed a unit.
Eunhyuk said, “If Kyuhyun prepared for his album in secret without talking about it with the members, Donghae and I joined SM when we were 15 years old. We’ve been preparing since then,” bringing out laughter.
Donghae jokingly added, “When I first met Eunhyuk, I thought, ‘I have to do a duet with him if I want to shine more in terms of visuals.’”
Eunhyuk shared, “From the beginning, I had the feeling that I would be doing something with him and I’m happy to be releasing an album like this. Instead of keeping it a secret, we get a lot of advice from the members and talk about it. Since we’ve performed many times together for concerts, the members advise us saying things like, ‘You guys should do something like this.’”
He continued, “Lee Teuk hyung especially monitors our performances and our promotional activities in Japan. He even paid attention to the small details. I feel grateful.”
Meanwhile, Super Junior D&E’s title song Growing Pains is a medium tempo song with a harmony between the piano, electronic and acoustic guitars and the lyrics express the feelings that come after a break up.
