‘Super Junior D&E’ Eunhyuk Shares Why His Initial Comes After Donghae’s
Super Junior D&E’s Eunhyuk shared the story behind the unit’s group name.
On March 5, Super Junior D&E’s first album release showcase and press conference was held at SM Town COEX Artium in Samsung-dong, during which Eunhyuk brought up the reason his initial comes second in the unit name ‘Super Junior D&E.’
Eunhyuk said, “I thought of the order of the names in many different ways. My birthday is earlier and I’m a bit taller too… But if it’s E&D, it sounds like it’s already over even though we haven’t even started, so we decided to go with D&E.”
He added, “Donghae Eunhyuk also sounds better than Eunhyuk Donghae. When you say Eunhyuk Donghae, the ‘Dong’ sounds like ‘Ddong.’ So I thought it’s better to go with Donghae Eunhyuk. I have no dissatisfaction over it.”
Meanwhile, Super Junior D&E’s title song Growing Pains is a medium tempo song with a harmony between the piano, electronic and acoustic guitars and the lyrics express the feelings that come after a break up.
