SNSD’s Yoona and Song Seung Heon Win Presidential Awards as Model Taxpayers
Girls’ Generation (SNSD)’s Yoona and Song Seung Heon have been selected as model taxpayers and received the presidential awards.
The The 49th Taxpayers’ Day ceremony took place on March 3 at the COEX Auditorium in Samsung-dong.
On this day, Yoona and Song Seung Heon won the presidential awards by receiving recognition for their volunteer activities and honest tax payments. Selected as the model taxpayers, they will be appointed as the honorary ambassadors of the National Tax Service.
March 3 has been appointed as the ‘Tax Day’ since 1966, when National Tax Service began taking charge of the tax administration duties, which was previously led by taxation bureau of the Ministry of Finance. Starting 2000, the day has been called ‘Taxpayers’ Day,’ celebrating and rewarding the citizens’ honest tax payments and cooperation on tax administration.
Meanwhile, Yoona is currently preparing for SNSD’s new album as well as her new Chinese drama while Song Seung Heon stars in the film Wonderful Nightmare along with Uhm Jung Hwa, which is soon to premiere.
