When asked how it was possible for the group to stay together for 17 years with no member changes or disbandment, Eric stated, "Everything just fell into its right place."

He added, "There′s nothing that goes well when just one person does well. I think we got good results because every situation and moment just fell together well."

"Because of the family-like companionship," stated Kim Dong Wan. "When something happens to our members, it′s not a personal issue, but everyone′s issue."

"We′re the type to reveal everything instead of hiding it, so I think we were able to last longer," added Shinhwa. "The leader′s role also was a huge part of it."
