Jung Yu Mi shared her feelings on her upcoming drama, SBS’s A Thousand Days’ Promise at the press conference on October 11.

“I’m acting as Hyang Gi who is unaware of love between Ji Hyeong (Kim Rae Won) and Seo Yeon (Soo Ae). Honestly, sometimes I feel sadness and heartbroken while I’m acting because I have to love a man unrequitedly,” said Jung.

She continued, “I haven’t loved somebody devotedly yet. So I’m making efforts to become a person like Hyang Gi who is pure and noble.”

She also revealed her feelings on the actress with the same name, who starred in The Crucible.

“I’ve hardly ever experienced inconvenience because I have the same name as her. But reporters and insiders of management agencies might have. So I thought about changing my name but I always missed the right timing.”

“Since the film star Jung Yu Mi has been actively working and she has a good image, so I want to show how hard I’m working as well,” she added. She also said, “It will be fun if I can work with Jung Yu Mi as a twin sister or in the same drama.”

Scriptwriter Kim Su Hyun and producer Jeong Eul Young joined hands for the first time in four years, since My Man′s Woman, for A Thousand Days′ Promise. The drama is about a hopeless love between a man who is willing to lay down his life for his love and a woman who is losing memory. It is set to premiere on October 17.
