The seven survivors will be debuting as Starship’s new group named Monsta X. Jooheon, Hyungwon and I.M. will be forming a new unit and release the new song Interstellar on February 12, launching quick promotions.

Starship explained, “Monsta X has double meanings as ‘the monster to take over K-pop’ and ‘my star (because mon means my in French) and the X symbolizes the unknown.”

Meanwhile, Jooheon, Shownu, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Wonho, Minhyuk and I.M. will be debuting as Monsta X in the first half of this year.
