BoA is one of the few singers in the music industry that the public watched as she grew up from the young age of 13 when she first made her debut.

We still remember the young adorable singer with chipmunk cheeks, wearing oversized clothes and big sneakers and singing about her favorite little cat. So how did this cute girl change into the beautiful lady we know of today?

Mnet’s Wide Entertainment News searched through BoA’s history to see her transformation.

As she was young when she debut, BoA’s small figure meant nothing, but as she began to age and her height did not increase as well, people started to talk, as she always appeared so short and stumpy on stage.

But this was all due to the style of clothes she wore. BoA, being the awesome dancing machine that she is, always wore sneakers to make it more comfortable when she danced.

Her disproportionate body also had to do with the fact that she was still a growing teenager who still had some of her baby fat.

As she entered her twenties, she began wearing 12 centimeter heels and lost all of her baby fat, evening out her body and appearing more proportional and taller on camera.

Now she’s the beautiful goddess that we know her as today.

But despite all of those ‘flaws’ that the public mentioned about her, BoA still proved that even though she may not meet the height of most idol singers these days, she still kicks butt as one of the hottest and most talented singers in K-Pop today.

And that’s all that really matters.
