SHINee Jonghyun’s ‘Deja-Boo’ Continues to Rank No. 1 on Music Charts and Programs
SHINee Jonghyun’s first solo album Base has ranked number one on Hanteo Chart for two weeks in a row.
Jonghyun’s first solo album Base ranked number one on the album sales site Hanteo’s weekly chart for the fourth week of January (January 19~25), following the previous week, topping the chart for two weeks straight.
The album, which was released all over the world on January 12 through iTunes, also topped Billboard’s World Albums chart (January 31 release).
Billboard wrote on K-Town, which is the K-pop column of Billboard, ‘Base also marks the first No. 1 for a K-pop act on World Albums in 2015,’ spotlighting the album and proving its popularity among global fans.
Jonghyun previously ranked number one on various music programs with the title song Deja-Boo and won first place for two weeks in a row on a January 24 broadcast of MBC’s Music Core, winning a total of seven trophies.
Jonghyun will present his performances on MBC Music’s Show! Champion on January 28, Mnet’s M COUNTDOWN on January 29, KBS’ Music Bank on January 30, MBC’s Music Core on January 31 and SBS’ Inkigayo on February 1.
