Ahn Jae Hyeon Dresses Up as a Vampire Doctor for ′Blood′s First Filming
Revealing a very unique doctor, the new KBS drama Blood unveiled stills of its vampire doctor, Ahn Jae Hyeon.
Model-turned-actor Ahn Jae Hyeon was cast as the vampire doctor, Park Ji Sang, who must fight his urge for blood, for KBS′ Blood, which is set to air in February.
On the outside, Park Ji Sang appears to be an egotistical man who has no pity or sadness, but on the inside, he is a very hurt man who longs for people. With his innocent charisma, he′s expected to take over the small screen.
The revealed photos showed Ahn Jae Hyeon sporting a pitch black hairstyle while wearing a white doctor′s gown. His pale face and red lips allowed him to fit into the vampire doctor role perfectly.
The first time Ahn Jae Hyeon revealed himself as a vampire doctor was on January 27, when the shooting took place at a hospital in Seoul. As it was the first shoot in Korea after filming in Romania, Ahn Jae Hyeon was especially eager to film, saying hello to every staff member on set and keeping a friendly atmosphere. As he prepared for the scene, he held a tight grip on his script and memorized, even discussing his character with Ki Min Soo PD.
Playing a doctor who specializes in Hepatopancreatobiliary surgeries, Ahn Jae Hyeon has been using whatever free time he has to observe surgeries at the hospital and practice while watching medical dramas.
The production company, IOK Media, stated, "Not only does he have a handsome face, Ahn Jae Hyeon is starting to look 100 percent like Park Ji Sang with his passion towards acting."′

Blood focuses around the nation′s best cancer hospital as a vampire doctor treats patients with incurable diseases while fighting for justice.
The drama is led by Ki Min Soo PD and writer Park Jae Bum, who worked on Good Doctor before.
